Questions, answered.
What exactly do I get in a Cadence Report?
A quarterly country read: the executive summary, macro context, the music-led mood read, attention and intent movers, category playbooks, the creative register (the tone, mode, tempo and voice the read points to), and a methodology appendix where every number names its source and date.
Is this prediction?
No, and we are unusually direct about this. Music charts are a validated mood proxy (our validation is published), but we pre-registered whether the signal predicts demand and tested it four times, a country-level forecast, a brand/category backtest, a powered nowcast across France and Germany, and a re-test on domestic-only songs. All four failed; on the broader outcome, adding music made the forecast worse. We published every result with the pre-registration and the code. So Cadence is a descriptive read, where attention, mood and watching are moving now, not a forecast. A predictive tier would reopen only on a future pre-registered pass.
Where does the data come from?
Streaming charts (Spotify), Netflix Top 10 with genre and origin via Wikidata (CC0), Google Trends search-intent, Wikipedia pageviews, GDELT news tone and thematic weather (GKG themes, what coverage is about, and how it’s shifting), the Google Ads Transparency Center for brand advertising activity, and official macro statistics (Eurostat). All behavioural, public or official, no survey panels. Every figure names its source and date.
What is the Cadence Skill?
The Cadence read inside the AI your team already uses. You add Cadence to Claude as a custom connector, or to ChatGPT as a custom GPT (any MCP-aware client works too), and ask in plain language. It comes with every report (for that market) and every subscription (across your markets), scoped to what you hold and not metered. Nothing to download and nothing to manage: you connect with your access key from the Account page and always get the current quarter. Your conversation stays in your AI; Cadence answers only the question you ask it.
How do I install the Cadence Skill?
There is nothing to install, you connect it once. Copy your access key and connector URL from the Account page, then: in Claude (Desktop or web) go to Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, and paste the URL with your key; in ChatGPT, open the Cadence custom GPT we provide, or add the connector, again with your key. After that, just ask in plain language, for example "brief me on Germany" or "what is moving most across Europe this quarter". The connection always reflects the current published quarter, and it only answers for the markets you hold.
Which countries are covered?
Eleven European markets are live: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Poland, Ireland, Belgium and Austria, alongside the cross-market European control room. We focus on Europe, where the receipted stack is consistent; markets outside Europe are available bespoke, for clients already running the European reports. We turn on a market only once its full signal stack is collected and checked, so a published edition always means real coverage.
Can I get a refund?
One-off reports: full refund within 14 days if it didn’t earn its keep, no questions. Subscriptions: cancel any time, effective at the end of the billing period.
