Ask your market
anything.

Eleven European markets. Answers grounded in evidence.

Ask Cadence about consumer behaviour, where markets diverge and what the signals mean for a decision, directly through the AI assistant your team already uses.

Question

Cadence

France reports -18.4 and Poland -14.0.

But their positions against their own historical norms tell a different story: France sits 4.9 points below its long-run mean, while Poland sits 2.8 above its own.

A survey index has a different national baseline in every market, so the two headline numbers are not rankable. One market is behaving better than it usually does, and it is not the one with the higher number.

What it is

Your analyst’s questions, answered from published evidence.

Cadence AI is the same intelligence the reports are generated from, reachable from Claude or ChatGPT. You ask in plain language; the assistant decides when to consult Cadence; the answer comes back with the market, the period and the public source attached.

It is not a chatbot trained on our reports. It reads the published edition directly, so it cannot describe a finding the edition has stopped making, and it cannot answer for a quarter that has not been published.

How the answers hold up

An answer, or a reason there isn’t one.

Every figure carries its receipt
The source, the series and the period, attached to the figure rather than buried in a footnote.
Eligibility travels with the claim
When a finding rests on three of seven observable entities, the answer says three of seven.
It declines, and says why
Out of scope, withheld and not measured are three different answers, and Cadence gives you the right one.
The published quarter, and no further
Ask it about a later period and it refuses rather than extrapolating from one or two points.

Scope

What it measures, and what it does not.

It measures

  • Consumer surveys: confidence, savings intent, major-purchase intent
  • Realised retail volumes, by category
  • Accommodation activity: nights and arrivals
  • Which brands Cadence observes per market and sector, and their advertising activity
  • Media-narrative salience by theme
  • Household borrowing rates, and unemployment
  • The music layer: domestic-repertoire share, genre mix and chart position

It does not

  • Sales, revenue, market share or units
  • Conversion, footfall, customer counts or account openings
  • Pricing or promotional depth
  • Social-media listening or survey-stated attitudes
  • Anything about a future period

Cadence is a read, not a forecast. It describes how a market behaves now, with a public source under every figure. It does not predict demand, and we publish the tests that led us to say so.

Access

It comes with a subscription.

The Skill is part of Cadence: all 11 markets, every new quarter while you subscribe, the European control room, and the Skill itself. Your connection is scoped to what your account holds and reflects the published edition the moment it changes.

A single country report does not include it. A report grants a document, permanently. The Skill is hosted intelligence you can question, which is a different thing to sell and a different thing to buy.

Not yet open

There is no free Cadence AI tier today. A free tier is being built and is not enabled: it needs the privacy work and a new sign-in route finished first. When it opens we will say so here. Until then, asking Cadence requires a subscription, and the country reports remain free to read with an account — which is a different thing from the Skill.

Connecting

Connect it once.

Cadence works with Claude and ChatGPT. Both use the same endpoint and the same access key, and any other client that speaks the same protocol can reach it too.

  1. Copy your access key from your account page, under Cadence Skill.
  2. Add a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT, pointing at the Cadence endpoint.
  3. Put the key in a request header, never in the URL.
  4. Ask it something. You never name a tool; the assistant decides when to consult Cadence.

Treat your access key like a password. A URL carrying a key ends up in browser history, screenshots, support tickets and pasted messages; a request header does not. Tell us if one is exposed and we will issue a new one and retire the old.

Limits

What it will not do.

  • It does not predict. Cadence describes how a market behaves now. We tested whether the signals forecast demand, twice, and published both results including the one that failed.
  • It does not profile individuals. Every series is market-level or brand-level. There is no person in the data.
  • It does not see your conversations. Cadence answers the questions your assistant sends it. It has no view of anything else in that conversation, and nothing you ask is added to the edition.
